A Cosmogranate is a speculative design object from Mike Wirth’s Jewish futurism art series. It is a holographic pomegranate-shaped device that can act as a supercomputer, translator, communication tool, time-travel device, space-travel device, or spaceship. It can change shape and size, becoming small enough for a pocket or large enough to carry people through space.

The name combines “cosmos,” meaning the universe, with “pomegranate,” an important Jewish symbol. It turns an ancient symbol into a future tool and asks what Jewish technology might look like if it carried memory, story, beauty, and possibility at the same time.
