Diasporic worldbuilding

2 tags 1 category

Worldbuilding is the process of creating the setting of a story, game, or imagined world. It includes its people, places, rules, history, tools, and culture. Diasporic worldbuilding creates Jewish futures that assume Jews are scattered across many places while also connected, creative, and present. Note: this is a named technique within the broader concept of diaspora futurism.

Coined for Jewish futurism by Mike Wirth, 2026.
