Diaspora means people living outside their ancestral homeland, often across many countries and communities. Diaspora futurism imagines Jewish futures that do not depend on one central place, synagogue, or institution. It asks how Jewish life can travel, adapt, and grow wherever Jews live. This concept includes diasporic worldbuilding as a named technique within it: the practice of creating settings, systems, and lore for scattered but connected Jewish futures.
